Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) El Salvador's Moises Fernandino started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Andrzej Kloczko made in the 9th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by El Salvador's Luis Rubio. Moises Fernandino's late challenge caught a TeReFerere's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Moises Fernandino helped the player get up and apologised. Moises Fernandino hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. In the 12th match minute, El Salvador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jesus Carvallo to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, TeReFerere's Boguslaw Piglowski tried to score from far away in the 13th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Franciszek Marud made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moises Fernandino in the 15th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Gilbert Opat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 17 minutes into the match, TeReFerere's goal looked a bit too open when Moises Fernandino came free, but Franciszek Marud reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Boguslaw Piglowski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ricardo Zorita was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. In the 22nd minute of the match El Salvador got a corner. TeReFerere's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mateo Leguizamo ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Moises Fernandino almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but TeReFerere's Franciszek Marud did a great save. When El Salvador's Moises Fernandino in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye TeReFerere's goalie prevented a goal. 31 minutes into the game, Moises Fernandino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Franciszek Marud was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pankracy Podowski in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ricardo Zorita saved El Salvador from getting behind. Franciszek Marud showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moises Fernandino, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Luis Rubio hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. After the first half El Salvador were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Boguslaw Piglowski made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to El Salvador getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Marco Tamayo hit a great ball. In the 51st match minute, TeReFerere was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pankracy Podowski to maneuver through the defense. When Andrzej Kloczko fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored TeReFerere's protests and gave Andrzej Kloczko a yellow card for diving instead. Mateo Leguizamo succeeded in the game's 55th minute to get real power on a long shot . TeReFerere's Franciszek Marud hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 0-2! In the 59th minute Boguslaw Piglowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Zorita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Moises Fernandino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franciszek Marud having to interfere. Abram Luque struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Franciszek Marud didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Salvador. 67 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when Boguslaw Piglowski came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. El Salvador's Mateo Leguizamo shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 69th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Franciszek Marud but with some difficulty. Moises Fernandino got his second yellow card in the match during the 73rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, El Salvador's Moises Fernandino got a free kick in the 74th minute. 77 minutes into the match, Pankracy Podowski notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita. Ricardo Zorita was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to El Salvador getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Valentino Ferrant hit a great ball. Boguslaw Piglowski might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ricardo Zorita. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Boguslaw Piglowski ran back to his position shaking his head. Ricardo Zorita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boguslaw Piglowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 86th minute Boguslaw Piglowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Zorita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 89th minute, Boguslaw Piglowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
