Nico Cordero helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to ARLO FC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Nico Cordero hit a great ball. ARLO FC's Denis Gipuzkoa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 7th minute of play. Denis Gipuzkoa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. The supporters of ARLO FC booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Arias didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 13 played minutes ARLO FC got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Michael. Nico Cordero's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 20thth minute, Julio Vera skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 21st match minute, ARLO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eric Cantona to maneuver through the defense. A very good chance. 26 minutes into the match, ARLO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Denis Gipuzkoa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Sancho to maneuver through the defense. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cipriano Gilabert, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 62nd minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 64thth minute of the game Cipriano Gilabert who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 69th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio Arias to maneuver through the defense. 72 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Jacobo Austin came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st minute, Juan Sebastián Puig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nico Cordero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Eric Connor hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. In the 91st match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agustín Saelices to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 92nd minute of the game. One of Ecuador:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of ARLO FC:s goal. Julio Vera went to the wrong direction when Eric Connor was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Ecuador were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
