The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Balázs Földvári's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Julio Vera firmly grabbed it by the left post. Gergely Baló showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. 10 minutes into the game, Balázs Földvári cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 16 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Wang Jun Ang who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on NAGYBÖRZSÖNY GUNNERS's corner Wang Jun Ang fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball. Gergely Baló made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 17th minute of play. In the 18th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gergely Baló saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Ecuador fans' excitement grew in the 19th match minute when Ecuador's Felix Montenegro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to NAGYBÖRZSÖNY GUNNERS getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Diedrik Helsens hit a great ball. In the 25th minute Rosen Hvúrlev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Szabolcs Bagi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. 30 minutes into the match, NAGYBÖRZSÖNY GUNNERS's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Gergely Baló reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. NAGYBÖRZSÖNY GUNNERS's Gergely Baló played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 33rd minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of NAGYBÖRZSÖNY GUNNERS's Gergely Baló. Gergely Baló was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rosen Hvúrlev in the 41st minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Szabolcs Bagi in the 52nd minute of the match. NAGYBÖRZSÖNY GUNNERS's Gergely Baló proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save NAGYBÖRZSÖNY GUNNERS from getting a goal against them. In the 54th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. NAGYBÖRZSÖNY GUNNERS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. NAGYBÖRZSÖNY GUNNERS's Gergely Baló proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save NAGYBÖRZSÖNY GUNNERS from getting a goal against them. 61 minutes into the match, Felix Montenegro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gergely Baló, 1-3. When Felix Montenegro came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felix Montenegro couldn't finish the play. Gergely Baló made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felix Montenegro in the 68th minute. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Diedrik Helsens struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for NAGYBÖRZSÖNY GUNNERS. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 86th minute NAGYBÖRZSÖNY GUNNERS were awarded a corner. Wang Jun Ang went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Wang Jun Ang got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Gergely Baló made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustín Saelices in the 87th minute of play. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Luis Andino fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gergely Baló quite easily take care of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Gergely Baló in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The NAGYBÖRZSÖNY GUNNERS fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
