Thanks to some nice moves Radomir Turak could shoot a difficult shot in the 2nd minute, which Dante Lacasa however easily saved by the left post. Orbay Başöz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jim Lyons in the 6th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Carel Kik came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 17 minutes, Dante Lacasa successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 22 played minutes AC Cazzo got a freekick which was hit by Fuat Baturalp. Orbay Başöz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 23rd minute of the match. 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by AC Cazzo's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Mexico's corner Joel Gaona fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Orbay Başöz quite easily take care of the ball. Alberto Tafalla struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Orbay Başöz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. Vladimír Brodský kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Jim Lyons could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 33 minutes into the match, AC Cazzo's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Orbay Başöz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jim Lyons in the 38th minute. Lorenzo Cazalla hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. In the 45th minute of the match Carel Kik sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dante Lacasa skillfully saved the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Gaona made a kick off. In the 54th minute of the match, Joel Gaona tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Orbay Başöz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 67th minute Carel Kik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. AC Cazzo had won after a very even match.
