Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Daniel Zorita took the kick off in the first half of the match. Bircan Bera could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 2nd minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Juan Sebastián Puig hit a great ball. After having played for 7 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 8 played minutes S⚽ma S⚽tes Sp⚽r got a freekick which was hit by Hilmi Hanbeyi. Luis Andino hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Buğra Gazzali showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 17th match minute, S⚽ma S⚽tes Sp⚽r was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baturalp Tanacan to maneuver through the defense. 18 minutes into the match, S⚽ma S⚽tes Sp⚽r's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Buğra Gazzali reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 19 minutes had been played when some careless play by S⚽ma S⚽tes Sp⚽r's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Buğra Gazzali breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Buğra Gazzali didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luis Andino went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 26 minutes into the game, Agustín Saelices cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Buğra Gazzali was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Felix Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. S⚽ma S⚽tes Sp⚽r's Buğra Gazzali played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 30th minute of play. After 31 played minutes S⚽ma S⚽tes Sp⚽r got a freekick which was hit by Rıdvan Vacip. Buğra Gazzali showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 39th minute of the match. Ferit Elmacıoğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Buğra Gazzali didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Buğra Gazzali tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 59th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Buğra Gazzali breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Felix Montenegro took a quick shot and it went in 0-8 without a chance for Buğra Gazzali to make any attempt to save it. Ecuador played a much better game than S⚽ma S⚽tes Sp⚽r and deserved their victory. The S⚽ma S⚽tes Sp⚽r players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
