In the 19th minute Gianluca Lapadula shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lautaro Mancebo struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Jerzy Dudek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. Jerzy Dudek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 25th minute of the match Mexico got a corner. KS Bukowe's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. In the 37th minute, Alberto Tafalla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. KS Bukowe's Jerzy Dudek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 39th minute of play. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marian Mondrowski in the 40th minute of play. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joel Gaona couldn't finish the play. Ulrik Runeberg's late challenge caught a Mexico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ulrik Runeberg helped the player get up and apologised. In the 63rd minute, one of KS Bukowe:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for KS Bukowe. Jerzy Dudek had in the 64thth minute some difficulties stopping Joel Gaona's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After having played for 66 minutes, Lautaro Mancebo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lautaro Mancebo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leonardo Leoz hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gianluca Lapadula, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Jerzy Dudek in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lautaro Mancebo scored 0-2 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jerzy Dudek, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Through an outstanding action, after 74 minutes, Jerzy Dudek successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 76th minute, KS Bukowe's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Joel Gaona fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gianluca Lapadula in the 80th minute of the match. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Jerzy Dudek made a huge save. In the 84th minute, Alberto Tafalla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joel Gaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Jerzy Dudek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 90 minutes of play, KS Bukowe's Gianluca Lapadula made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dante Lacasa was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 93rd minute Sebastian Bakes suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Lautaro Mancebo's late challenge caught a KS Bukowe's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
