Arne Tellingen acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 15th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Basilio Cresencio. In the 16th match minute, CENTAURO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodolfo Tuste to maneuver through the defense. In the 20th minute Roel Geerdink shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonardo Salvadore saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes into the game, Astor Fernanco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CENTAURO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The Dalwhinnie Boys the free kick. In the 21st minute, Astor Fernanco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Theo Smeekes in the 25th minute of play forced CENTAURO's goalkeeper Leonardo Salvadore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the match, The Dalwhinnie Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Bittor came free, but Arne Tellingen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leonardo Salvadore didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wilfried Ottens went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Arne Tellingen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Basilio Cresencio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 46 minutes into the match, CENTAURO's goal looked a bit too open when Theo Smeekes came free, but Leonardo Salvadore reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 54th match minute, The Dalwhinnie Boys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bennie Venema to maneuver through the defense. Arne Tellingen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Basilio Cresencio, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Arne Tellingen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Bittor in the 59th minute of the match. In the 63rd minute, Roel Geerdink ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leonardo Salvadore was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After 71 minutes of play, CENTAURO's Basilio Cresencio made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arne Tellingen was left in no man's land by his defense there! Arne Tellingen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Bittor in the 74th minute of the match. Victor Bittor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 79th minute Wilfried Ottens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonardo Salvadore saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 80 minutes, Basilio Cresencio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CENTAURO and the The Dalwhinnie Boys players grew even worse after the yellow card. The Dalwhinnie Boys made a substitution. Denny Vrieling replaced Jim Robben. In the 85th minute, Basilio Cresencio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Bittor in the 87th minute of play forced The Dalwhinnie Boys's goalkeeper Arne Tellingen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Leonardo Salvadore managed to avoid a goal in the 91stth minute, when The Dalwhinnie Boys's Wilfried Ottens fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
