Vlad Covrig was left in no man's land by his defense there! Virgil Jupân sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Everardo Benino scored 0-2 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vlad Covrig, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cosme Piorno was a little too slow when Golo Phoenix got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 30th minute. The score was now 1-2. In the 32nd minute Virgil Jupân shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cosme Piorno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Golo Phoenix got a free kick in the 35th minute. Vlad Covrig showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arturo Constancio, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. 39 minutes into the match, TLAMET Y TLASAK 100PRE's goal looked a bit too open when Nistor Vermeşan came free, but Cosme Piorno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Virgil Jupân fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cosme Piorno having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca fully deserved thier win.
