After a rather tough play, ITA Arad's Cazimir Frunză got a free kick in the 4th minute. In the 9th match minute, ITA Arad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Caranfil to maneuver through the defense. 11 minutes into the match, Golo Phoenix notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of ITA Arad's Leontin Bot. Leontin Bot was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Golo Phoenix got free with Leontin Bot in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sever Ţurcaş sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leontin Bot didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Virgil Jupân shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Through an outstanding action, after 32 minutes, Leontin Bot successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Golo Phoenix put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Leontin Bot. 37 minutes into the game, Golo Phoenix cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Leontin Bot was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 41st minute, PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Virgil Jupân ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Leontin Bot. Leontin Bot yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 6-0. 44 minutes into the match, ITA Arad's goal looked a bit too open when Golo Phoenix came free, but Leontin Bot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Golo Phoenix took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leontin Bot. Leontin Bot dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 7-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tsubasa Ožura made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Golo Phoenix hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 56 minutes into the game, PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Golo Phoenix nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leontin Bot made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. In the 61st minute, Golo Phoenix left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. When the match clock showed 65 minutes, the score became 10-0 when Golo Phoenix sped through ITA Arad's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Leontin Bot. Leontin Bot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nistor Vermeşan in the 68th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucian Şimonca in the 69th minute of play forced ITA Arad's goalkeeper Leontin Bot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 74th minute, Virgil Jupân left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 11-0. 81 minutes had been played when some careless play by ITA Arad's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sorin Nicorici was slow to take the kick. During this time PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's players had a chance to rest. After 82 played minutes ITA Arad got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Caranfil. After having played for 83 minutes, Sorin Nicorici managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sorin Nicorici was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee ended the match the PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
