Oswaldo Cabral took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vitório Britto. Vitório Britto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Luiz Fernando Baiano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gugu Saldanha in the 8th minute. César Correia charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed César Correia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 9th match minute, Compostela FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by César Correia to maneuver through the defense. Elói Branco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Fernando Baiano having to interfere. In the 15th minute, Quebra Ossos FC's Gugu Saldanha dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Luiz Fernando Baiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elói Branco in the 22nd minute of the match. Luiz Fernando Baiano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gugu Saldanha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 28 minutes into the match, Elói Branco dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Luiz Fernando Baiano, 2-1. In the 31st minute, Compostela FSCMZ's César Correia seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed César Correia the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Compostela FSCMZ protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and César Correia had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Gugu Saldanha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Luiz Fernando Baiano made a huge save. With a little luck, Compostela FSCMZ's Luiz Fernando Baiano got control of the ball when Sílvio Corrêa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luiz Fernando Baiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gugu Saldanha in the 45th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

In the 56th match minute, Compostela FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Tasso to maneuver through the defense. 57 minutes into the match, Quebra Ossos FC's Gugu Saldanha sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luiz Fernando Baiano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 59 minutes into the match, Elói Branco notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Compostela FSCMZ's Luiz Fernando Baiano. Luiz Fernando Baiano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Oswaldo Cabral struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Vitório Britto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Compostela FSCMZ. A very good chance. 88 minutes into the match, Compostela FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Gugu Saldanha came free, but Luiz Fernando Baiano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gugu Saldanha in the 95th minute of play forced Compostela FSCMZ's goalkeeper Luiz Fernando Baiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee ended the match the Quebra Ossos FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
