After 4 minutes of play, Deportivo Mandiyu's Federico Anaya made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Angel Gartzi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hipolito Bizen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cleto Sindo in the 11th minute of play. The supporters of Reyes F.C. booed when Deportivo Mandiyu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moises Hartz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Angel Gartzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Federico Anaya in the 14th minute of the match. After 16 played minutes Deportivo Mandiyu got a freekick which was hit by Bernabe Sanchez. In the 23rd match minute, Deportivo Mandiyu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moises Hartz to maneuver through the defense. Reyes F.C.'s Esteve Harri got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 37 minutes, Cayetano Dorio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Reyes F.C. and the Deportivo Mandiyu players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cayetano Dorio kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the match, Deportivo Mandiyu's goal looked a bit too open when Cleto Sindo came free, but Hipolito Bizen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Deportivo Mandiyu getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Teofilo Salvadore hit a great ball. Hipolito Bizen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidoro Malvin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fabricio Chale to strike the kick off in the second half. When Moises Hartz fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo Mandiyu's protests and gave Moises Hartz a yellow card for diving instead. From a short distance, Reyes F.C.'s Isidoro Malvin, in the 61st minute, tried to place the ball behind Hipolito Bizen, but the ball hit the right post on the wrong side and went out. Hipolito Bizen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isidoro Malvin in the 63rd minute. Deportivo Mandiyu's defense didn't have a chance, in the 63rd minute, when Isidoro Malvin scored to the left of an out of position Hipolito Bizen, making the score, 1-2. After a rather tough play, Reyes F.C.'s Isidoro Malvin got a free kick in the 83rd minute. After some careless play in the Reyes F.C. defense, Laureano Eladio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Angel Gartzi. The Reyes F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Angel Gartzi should have stopped the shot. Despite being the better team, Reyes F.C. failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
