Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. BlueLionesse's Cristinel Nicodim was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 12th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After 14 played minutes BlueLionesse got a freekick which was hit by Mădălin Botgros. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Octavian Isărescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Venezuela were awarded a corner in the 26th minute after BlueLionesse's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tomas Illescas took the corner. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristinel Nicodim in the 31st minute. In the 32nd match minute, BlueLionesse was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mădălin Botgros to maneuver through the defense. In the 38th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rigoberto Mina to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Octavian Isărescu in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristinel Nicodim in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Matthew Tielve made in the 53rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Mihail Albu immediately put the ball in play. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Octavian Isărescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 57 minutes, Octavian Isărescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BlueLionesse's supporters crossed their fingers, but Octavian Isărescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristinel Nicodim struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BlueLionesse. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mihail Albu in the 62nd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jose Correa got a free kick in the 65th minute. Ilie Crainic made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 72nd minute. A collision led to BlueLionesse getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Mădălin Botgros hit a great ball. Alex Chicote kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. BlueLionesse's Cristinel Nicodim got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Octavian Isărescu put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. BlueLionesse's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
