Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Edmundo Espiga made the kick off which started today's match. In the 7th minute, Téo Sá hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Moises Tafalla came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Honduras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Moises Tafalla couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Válbson Queirós took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Lautaro Navarro to make any attempt to save it. Sebastian Villa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 30th minute of play forced Maraponga FAC's goalkeeper Jardel Falcão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Maraponga FAC's Victor do Valle got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Magno Dante made in the 36th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Honduras's Esteban Carvallo. If Moises Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 41 played minutes, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jardel Falcão came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Honduras reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 44th minute of play forced Maraponga FAC's goalkeeper Jardel Falcão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sebastian Villa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sebastian Villa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcinho Simões made a kick off. Jardel Falcão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moises Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. The supporters of Honduras booed when Maraponga FAC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcinho Simões didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcinho Simões kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Edmundo Espiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 78th match minute, Maraponga FAC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marquinhos Cruz to maneuver through the defense. 79 minutes into the game, Sebastian Villa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Honduras's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Maraponga FAC the free kick. After 79 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Villa. After a rather tough play, Maraponga FAC's Magno Dante got a free kick in the 89th minute. In the 90th minute, Honduras's Sebastian Villa dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Sebastian Villa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honduras's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastian Villa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jardel Falcão breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Honduras's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
