Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Marcinho Simões started the match with the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maximiliano Escribano in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jardel Falcão prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 8th minute, Victor do Valle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jaime Cazalla took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 9th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jardel Falcão. Maraponga FAC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Maximiliano Escribano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jardel Falcão read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. 12 minutes had been played when some careless play by Maraponga FAC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jaime Cazalla was slow to take the kick. During this time Uruguay's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Uruguay's corner Francisco Seco fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jardel Falcão quite easily take care of the ball. Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Válbson Queirós, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Téo Sá hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Magno Dante got a throw-in 25 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Luiz Fernando Tróia. The supporters of Uruguay booed when Maraponga FAC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marquinhos Cruz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joaquin Gayoso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcinho Simões in the 33rd minute. When Válbson Queirós fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Maraponga FAC's protests and gave Válbson Queirós a yellow card for diving instead. 36 minutes into the match, Maraponga FAC's goal looked a bit too open when Maximiliano Escribano came free, but Jardel Falcão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Victor do Valle during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 38th minute of the match Jaime Cazalla sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jardel Falcão skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Maraponga FAC's Luiz Fernando Tróia got a free kick in the 39th minute. In the 41st minute, Francisco Seco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Uruguay fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 46 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Gisbert. A hard shot by José Paulo Toledo from long distance, 47 minutes into the match, got Joaquin Gayoso's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Francisco Seco made a kick off. Francisco Seco who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 54thth minute tested the skills of Jardel Falcão when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Francisco Seco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jardel Falcão having to interfere. After 66 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Gisbert. In the 67th minute of the match José Paulo Toledo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Joaquin Gayoso showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Maximiliano Escribano who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 71stth minute tested the skills of Jardel Falcão when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Maraponga FAC's Válbson Queirós got a free kick in the 71st minute. Jardel Falcão made an important save on a dangerous shot by Francisco Seco in the 76th minute. Francisco Seco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 82nd minute, Maximiliano Escribano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jardel Falcão was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Francisco Seco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Jardel Falcão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th minute, Francisco Seco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Francisco Seco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jardel Falcão having to make a save. Dorian Breckenfeld's late challenge caught a Uruguay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dorian Breckenfeld helped the player get up and apologised. In the 95th minute, Francisco Seco reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jardel Falcão. The goal made the score 0-4. Uruguay played a much better game than Maraponga FAC and deserved their victory. The Maraponga FAC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
