Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Mariano Lacasa started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Irinel Mirciu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 4th minute of the match. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Irinel Mirciu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. Irinel Mirciu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 9th minute of play. In the 10th minute, Mariano Lacasa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 12th minute, Francisco Carballar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mariano Lacasa scored 0-1 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Irinel Mirciu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 21 minutes, Shi Li managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Galati Harbour Cats's supporters crossed their fingers, but Shi Li was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 22 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Irinel Mirciu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 25th match minute, Galati Harbour Cats was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mo Yuan Fan to maneuver through the defense. Thiago Pliego didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Shi Li went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 33rd minute Shi Li shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34th minute Galati Harbour Cats were awarded a corner. Dan Petrescu went to the cornerflag to take it. Shi Li was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Antoni Dembkowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Irinel Mirciu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orlando Casaus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Shi Li made a kick off. Antoni Dembkowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thiago Pliego having to interfere. In the 65th minute Orlando Casaus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Irinel Mirciu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Irinel Mirciu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Galati Harbour Cats made a substitution. Ianis Man replaced Shi Li. 74 minutes had been played when some careless play by Chile's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dan Petrescu was slow to take the kick. During this time Galati Harbour Cats's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Galati Harbour Cats's corner Dan Petrescu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Thiago Pliego quite easily take care of the ball. After some careless play in the Galati Harbour Cats defense, Mariano Lacasa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Irinel Mirciu. The Galati Harbour Cats fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Irinel Mirciu should have stopped the shot. In the 84th minute, Antoni Dembkowski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thiago Pliego was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. If Ianis Man had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thiago Pliego stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ianis Man's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ianis Man in the 90th minute of play. Mariano Lacasa's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 94thth minute, Irinel Mirciu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Gheorghe Ducu kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Chile were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Galati Harbour Cats to leave the ground with a draw.
