Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Daniel Zorita took the kick off in the first half of the match. Maraponga FAC's Mané Andrade played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 3rd minute of play. Julio Vera had great luck who in the 9thth minute grab hold of the ball when Cristiano Osmundsen from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Maraponga FAC were awarded a corner in the 10th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jimmy Lind took the corner. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Maraponga FAC's goalkeeper Mané Andrade, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mané Andrade showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Primitivo Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 25th minute. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 33rd minute, Darren Verlet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mané Andrade showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. After 37 played minutes Maraponga FAC got a freekick which was hit by Antal Szaniszló. 39 minutes into the match, Maraponga FAC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Mané Andrade reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 45 played minutes Maraponga FAC got a freekick which was hit by Antal Szaniszló. 47 minutes into the match, Maraponga FAC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Mané Andrade reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Xacintu Magadan to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Xacintu Magadan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. In the 58th minute Darren Verlet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 59 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jimmy Lind who took care of the corner kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Mané Andrade in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A very nice done corner allowed Luis Andino to score against Mané Andrade in Maraponga FAC's goal. 0-1 after 71 minutes. 76 minutes had been played when some careless play by Maraponga FAC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Agustín Saelices fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Mané Andrade quite easily take care of the ball. Mané Andrade showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Montenegro in the 81st minute of the match. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Mané Andrade made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Darren Verlet managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maraponga FAC's supporters rose to their feet, but Darren Verlet was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mané Andrade showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 92nd minute of the match. In the 94th minute, Felix Montenegro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Ecuador supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Ecuador would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
