In the 10th match minute, Semantra AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bianco Bosco to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Semantra AC's Alessandro Spiazzi got a free kick in the 16th minute. Aurelio Feltrin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Jacobo Nores tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Semantra AC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavio Marconi in the 79th minute of play forced Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81st minute, Ettore Salomone ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jacobo Nores was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 85 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goal looked a bit too open when Flavio Marconi came free, but Jacobo Nores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Flavio Marconi took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Jacobo Nores to make any attempt to save it. Flavio Marconi might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jacobo Nores. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Flavio Marconi ran back to his position shaking his head. Hector Covarrubias hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Paraguay from getting a goal against them. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Semantra AC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
