Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Fabian Obano got the match started through his kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Gavra Parezanović stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Gavra Parezanović tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Patricio Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Primitivo Goizeder in the 9th minute of the match. After having played for 17 minutes, Fabian Obano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Salta Futbol Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabian Obano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jimeno Teodor read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. When Salta Futbol Club's Fabian Obano in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jimeno Teodor. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. Jimeno Teodor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 36th minute of the match. 37 minutes into the match, Salta Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Jimeno Teodor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 38 minutes Salta Futbol Club's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tomas Illescas who took care of the corner kick. In the 40th match minute, Salta Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabian Obano to maneuver through the defense. Jimeno Teodor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 41st minute of play. Fabian Obano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Illescas to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the game, Gavra Parezanović was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Salta Futbol Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. Gavra Parezanović kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Camilo Gaos got a free kick in the 59th minute. 60 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Fabian Obano came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabian Obano in the 63rd minute of play. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Rigoberto Mina hit a great ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stéphane Le Thiec in the 66th minute of the match. 69 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Stéphane Le Thiec was slow to take the kick. During this time Salta Futbol Club's players had a chance to rest. After 70 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Stéphane Le Thiec who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Salta Futbol Club's Fabian Obano to fire away a dangerous shot which Jonathan Ferrant despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Salta Futbol Club's Jimeno Teodor got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Salta Futbol Club's Leonardo Ricart got a free kick in the 75th minute. The supporters of Salta Futbol Club booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 81st minute, Fabian Obano made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Fabian Obano took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. When Salta Futbol Club's Fabian Obano in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. Fabian Obano charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fabian Obano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Salta Futbol Club getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Fabian Obano hit a great ball. Salta Futbol Club walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
