Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. 6 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Felix Martinsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 15th match minute, LA VIOLA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mihăiţă Cârstoiu to maneuver through the defense. LA VIOLA's Felix Martinsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 18th minute of play. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 19th minute after LA VIOLA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind LA VIOLA's goalkeeper Felix Martinsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. LA VIOLA's Jens-Ove Abrahamsson got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Agustín Saelices came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Agustín Saelices couldn't finish the play. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Albert Rutledge sent off a good shot on target. Felix Martinsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 34th minute of play. Felix Martinsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 43rd minute of the match. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Juan Sebastián Puig hit a great ball. In the 47th minute, Jerry Stabbe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Albert Rutledge made the kick off in the second half. Antonio Arias hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Sune Dahlberg took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 53rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Julio Vera. Ecuador's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gottfrid Brenner in the 54th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 55 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gisbert. In the 59th minute, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Osvald Uter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, LA VIOLA's Henrik Wickander got a free kick in the 65th minute. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gottfrid Brenner went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 71 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Felix Martinsson. LA VIOLA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Felix Martinsson in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Albert Rutledge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Felix Martinsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 87th minute of play. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Osvald Uter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albert Rutledge in the 91st minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 94th minute, Luis Andino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in LA VIOLA's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felix Martinsson came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The LA VIOLA fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
