Motta Rello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 11 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Alvaro Giusto came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 13 minutes into the match, San Michele AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Motta Rello reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Motta Rello didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joel Gaona went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. San Michele AFC's Ziemowit Kinic got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 21st minute, Edgard Galván hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Motta Rello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 22nd minute of the match. The supporters of Mexico booed when San Michele AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ziemowit Kinic didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hüsamettin Civanmert got free with Dante Lacasa in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Motta Rello was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alvaro Giusto got free with Dante Lacasa in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After the first half Mexico were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alvaro Giusto made a kick off. San Michele AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 54th minute, when Alberto Tafalla scored to the left of an out of position Motta Rello, making the score, 0-4. In the 56th minute Alvaro Giusto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 57th minute, Ziemowit Kinic hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 62nd minute, Lautaro Mancebo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 65th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luca Rouco to maneuver through the defense. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvaro Giusto in the 66th minute of play. Alvaro Giusto took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Hüsamettin Civanmert kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute of the match Mexico got a corner. San Michele AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well done corner resulted in Luca Rouco drilling the ball in to score 1-5 behind San Michele AFC's goalkeeper. 82 minutes into the match, San Michele AFC's Alvaro Giusto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dante Lacasa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 83rd minute of the match San Michele AFC got a corner. Mexico's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ziemowit Kinic ran over to the corner to take the kick. Motta Rello made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Facundo Cadaval sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, San Michele AFC's Motta Rello got control of the ball when Lautaro Mancebo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Leonardo Leoz made in the 90th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by San Michele AFC's Felice Zinni. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 92th minute after San Michele AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Alberto Tafalla advanced and headed the ball into goal, 1-6 in the 92nd minute. When the match was over Mexico could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than San Michele AFC throughout the match.
