Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The wind increased when Joel Gaona made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Industrial United's goalkeeper Samuel De Pablo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lautaro Mancebo. The corner ended in Joel Gaona almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Industrial United's Samuel De Pablo did a great save. With his leg Samuel De Pablo managed to avoid a goal in the 74thth minute, when Mexico's Joel Gaona fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Luca Zorita took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Samuel De Pablo. Samuel De Pablo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cipriano Gala in the 83rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Industrial United's Lolo Dominguez got a free kick in the 85th minute. A collision led to Industrial United getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Eleodoro Estruch hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Industrial United's zone, Lautaro Mancebo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Samuel De Pablo came out of the goal and Lautaro Mancebo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mexico's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
