Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Lofi Girl Portimao's Israel Brás got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Lofi Girl Portimao's Afonso Mourato proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Lofi Girl Portimao from getting a goal against them. 6 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Lofi Girl Portimao's Afonso Mourato. Afonso Mourato was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nuno Porto in the 19th minute of the match. Afonso Mourato was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Daniel Zorita showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 22 minute of play. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Afonso Mourato didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 28th minute. Daniel Zorita made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that Lofi Girl Portimao's Afonso Mourato managed to reach the ball for a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nuno Porto during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Lofi Girl Portimao's Nuno Porto got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nuno Porto in the 34th minute of the match. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonso Mourato having to interfere. After 44 played minutes Lofi Girl Portimao got a freekick which was hit by Joaquim Matos. Agustín Saelices hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nuno Porto to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Nuno Porto recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Julio Vera. Nuno Porto showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. After having played for 57 minutes, Agustín Saelices managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Agustín Saelices was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lofi Girl Portimao's Alcides Porto was substituted for Januário Sá. Lofi Girl Portimao made a substitution. Ramiro Medeiros replaced Israel Brás. 66 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlos Melo. In the 68th minute, Josué Esparteiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Afonso Mourato showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 70th minute of the match. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 71st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Afonso Mourato breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 84th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Montenegro to maneuver through the defense. 88 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Afonso Mourato. Lofi Girl Portimao's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Cristian Sancho might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Afonso Mourato. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristian Sancho ran back to his position shaking his head. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Ecuador had played much better football throughout.
