Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Venezuela's Tomas Illescas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 8 minutes into the match, Tomas Illescas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Charles Kristiansson. Mosh Pit's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomas Illescas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After 10 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gaos. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rasmus Willig during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Rasmus Willig hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. After having played for 13 minutes, Patricio Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patricio Costa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Mosh Pit's Ivan Falck in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. Sven Låsberg struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mosh Pit. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ivan Falck in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. In the 35th minute, Ivan Falck made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Ivan Falck made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Ivan Falck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ivan Falck's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Mosh Pit's Sven Låsberg pulled a muscle in his leg after 60 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 60 minutes, Camilo Gaos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Mosh Pit players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mosh Pit made a substitution. Nils-Emil Lindsten replaced Sven Låsberg. After 61 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gaos. Ragnar Sjödin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nils-Emil Lindsten in the 65th minute of play. 66 minutes into the game, Mosh Pit's Jan-Olof Löv nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. In the 70th minute, Jan-Olof Löv got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 88th minute, Jan-Olof Löv hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Jan-Olof Löv kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivan Falck in the 95th minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Mosh Pit fans cheered their team off the field, for while Venezuela had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
