The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jabbar De Roeulx, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 20 played minutes LeRoeulx got a freekick which was hit by Elias Verdonk. If Edmundo Espiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to LeRoeulx getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Daan van haeve hit a great ball. Lautaro Navarro was out of position in the 34 minute of play, and Brian Van Eynde capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Brian Van Eynde really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. 37 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Jabbar De Roeulx came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Jeremy Coremans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of LeRoeulx booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moises Tafalla didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lautaro Navarro was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Jabbar De Roeulx. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edmundo Espiga made a kick off. In the 55th minute Milagros Cabal suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. 55 minutes into the game, Jabbar De Roeulx was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. LeRoeulx's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Honduras the free kick. Honduras made a substitution. Stefano Rouco replaced Milagros Cabal. The supporters of Honduras booed when LeRoeulx was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jabbar De Roeulx didn't get a good kick on the ball. The LeRoeulx fans' excitement grew in the 59th match minute when LeRoeulx's Jeremy Coremans looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 62ndth minute of the game Jabbar De Roeulx who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Honduras's Lautaro Navarro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Daan van haeve's late challenge caught a Honduras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 70thth minute of the game Edmundo Espiga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LeRoeulx's Robin Hagemans was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 71 minutes into the game, Moises Tafalla was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. With an all-out effort, Honduras's Robin Hagemans threw himself towards the right post 73 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Edmundo Espiga, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The supporters of Honduras booed when LeRoeulx was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jabbar De Roeulx didn't get a good kick on the ball. LeRoeulx's Robin Hagemans proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save LeRoeulx from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edmundo Espiga got free with Robin Hagemans in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 83rd match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Sancho to maneuver through the defense. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brian Van Eynde in the 88th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Jeremy Coremans's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lautaro Navarro was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. Robin Hagemans acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 90th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Edmundo Espiga. After having played for 93 minutes, Jabbar De Roeulx managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LeRoeulx's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jabbar De Roeulx was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. LeRoeulx were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Honduras for a fine match.
