Florentino Checa made in the 37th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Francisco José Millán immediately put the ball in play. The supporters of Puerto de Sagunto CF booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Richmond Van Glabeeke in the 89th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Francisco José Millán's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 92ndth minute, Jonathan Ferrant skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 96th minute Richmond Van Glabeeke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
