The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the game, Iker Tafalla was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Paraguay's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wolfwalkers F.C. the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Paraguay fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 5th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Wolfwalkers F.C. a penalty, 7 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Gregorio Toribio, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Paraguay's Jacobo Nores. 0-1. After having played for 20 minutes, Jaime Pardo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paraguay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jaime Pardo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Paolo Francesco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Jacobo Nores tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 24th play minute Jaime Pardo came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ulises Huly. 1-1. Primitivo Escribano kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. In the 29th minute, Primitivo Escribano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 32nd play minute Jaime Pardo came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ulises Huly. 2-1. Ulises Huly made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Jaime Pardo sent off a good shot on target. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paolo Francesco in the 47th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paolo Francesco was the one to do the kick off. 64 minutes into the game, Robustiano Medardo threw the ball into play from the sideline. Paraguay's Iker Tafalla quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 73 minutes into the match, Hector Covarrubias notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Wolfwalkers F.C.'s Ulises Huly. Ulises Huly was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Paraguay getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Alan Campos hit a great ball. Domingos Efren made in the 83rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Baldomiro Horado immediately put the ball in play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Domingos Efren got free with Jacobo Nores in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Wolfwalkers F.C.'s Cipriano Donzel got a free kick in the 91st minute.
