Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eddy Odd in the 8th minute of play. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. In the 11th match minute, Rodborough was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Liu Ping Di to maneuver through the defense. 13 minutes in the game Jeffers Grieve did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Eddy Odd. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Doncho Bogoev took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Jonathan Ferrant to make any attempt to save it. In the 22nd minute, Guillermo Mariano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eddy Odd scored 2-0 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomas Illescas kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Doncho Bogoev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Doncho Bogoev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 38 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when László Kulcsár came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Doncho Bogoev stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Doncho Bogoev, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. A hard shot 55 in the game by Tomas Illescas from a close distance when the talented Jagger Kaine managed to make a qualified save. Rodborough's players were relieved. The supporters of Rodborough booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Mariano didn't get a good kick on the ball. 59 minutes into the match, Eddy Odd had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eddy Odd was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jagger Kaine breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 66 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Patricio Costa hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. In the 72nd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Costa to maneuver through the defense. After 76 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Joshua Secada. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Doncho Bogoev's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Eddy Odd recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match.
