A throw-in in the 8th minute of the game was made by Henrik Ooms with Loid De Keuster as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 9th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waud De Geyter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Waud De Geyter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Silver Squad AFC's Waud De Geyter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 13th minute of play. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Jonathan Venegas hit a great ball. Damazy Radzyminski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Patricio Costa's late challenge caught a Silver Squad AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Patricio Costa helped the player get up and apologised. Patricio Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benjamin Carberry in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamin Carberry, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th minute Benjamin Carberry shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42nd minute, Guillermo Mariano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Silver Squad AFC's Benjamin Carberry. But to his dismay, Benjamin Carberry quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. If Benjamin Carberry had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Benjamin Carberry blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benjamin Carberry to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benjamin Carberry in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frans Van Caubergen, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Silver Squad AFC's goalkeeper Waud De Geyter, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Silver Squad AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frans Van Caubergen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Silver Squad AFC's Benjamin Carberry. But to his dismay, Benjamin Carberry quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamin Carberry, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Silver Squad AFC's Benjamin Carberry in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin Carberry in the 76th minute of play. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 82 minutes into the game, Silver Squad AFC's Loid De Keuster nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Loid De Keuster blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamin Carberry in the 88th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Loid De Keuster in the 92nd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benjamin Carberry took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0.
