The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Glen Langsford sent off a good shot on target. Jonathan Ferrant had great luck who in the 9thth minute grab hold of the ball when Hacı Eryilmaz from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 10th minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hacı Eryilmaz in the 11th minute of the match. In the 13th minute, Hacı Eryilmaz made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After 17 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. 23 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Paolo Di Canio was slow to take the kick. During this time Beckenham Town's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Beckenham Town's corner Paolo Di Canio fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jonathan Ferrant quite easily take care of the ball. 25 minutes into the game, Tomas Illescas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Carl Norman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Carl Norman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 29th minute of play. In the 33rd minute Hacı Eryilmaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hacı Eryilmaz in the 36th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Rigoberto Mina got a free kick in the 42nd minute. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Hacı Eryilmaz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Carl Norman made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. In the 55th match minute, Beckenham Town was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domingos Calvet to maneuver through the defense. Patricio Costa was extremely unlucky when he, in the 56th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Through an outstanding action, after 56 minutes, Carl Norman successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 58 minutes into the match, Hacı Eryilmaz notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hacı Eryilmaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Tomas Illescas hit a great ball. If Hacı Eryilmaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Carl Norman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hacı Eryilmaz in the 71st minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hacı Eryilmaz in the 71st minute of the match. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Beckenham Town's Patrick Wootton was substituted for Paulo Tilmann. Beckenham Town's Ömer Yıldırım was substituted for Domingos Calvet. Beckenham Town's Azubeli Briñas was substituted for Paolo Di Canio. Camilo Gaos hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Glen Langsford, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Glen Langsford in the 86th minute of play. Carl Norman was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tomas Illescas showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-2 in the 90 minute of play. Glen Langsford fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. After 94 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. There was no doubt that Beckenham Town were the better team. Beckenham Town's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
