Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Peru's Julian Murillo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Luz Tejedor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rolando Noboa was out of position in the 7 minute of play, and Tibor Bäuschlein capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tibor Bäuschlein really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Peru's Alonso Berganza quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Lionel 柯景亦, made in the 10th minute of the game. After 11 played minutes International Thunders got a freekick which was hit by Carlo Gerick. Thorsten Ternes didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Peru's Julian Murillo shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-1 in the ordered_time% minute. The supporters of International Thunders booed when Peru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquin Prats didn't get a good kick on the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Loukianos Staikos dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rolando Noboa, 2-1. Thorsten Ternes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luz Tejedor in the 21st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in International Thunders's zone, Julian Murillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thorsten Ternes came out of the goal and Julian Murillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 25 minutes into the match, Julian Murillo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Thorsten Ternes. International Thunders's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Julian Murillo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. 28 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Tibor Bäuschlein came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julian Murillo struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Thorsten Ternes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peru. Thorsten Ternes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Thorsten Ternes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thorsten Ternes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 35th minute of the match. International Thunders's Thorsten Ternes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 40th minute of play. In the 47thth minute of the game Julian Murillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but International Thunders's Thorsten Ternes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After a rather tough play, Peru's Anthony Alvarado got a free kick in the 52nd minute. 55 minutes into the match, Loukianos Staikos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rolando Noboa. Peru's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Loukianos Staikos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Tibor Bäuschlein hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. A collision led to International Thunders getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Gernot Kellner hit a great ball. In the 65th minute Loukianos Staikos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peru's attentive Eliseo Mina managed to snatch the ball when Lionel 柯景亦 made a throw-in in the 68th minute of the game. Julian Murillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Thorsten Ternes made a huge save. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tibor Bäuschlein, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. With a little luck, International Thunders's Thorsten Ternes got control of the ball when Julian Murillo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 73rd minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thorsten Ternes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 75 minutes into the game, Lionel 柯景亦 threw the ball into play from the sideline. Peru's Alonso Berganza quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Lionel 柯景亦 made in the 76th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Alonso Berganza. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tibor Bäuschlein in the 77th minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 79th minute of the game. One of International Thunders:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Peru:s goal. In the 80th minute, Luz Tejedor ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thorsten Ternes was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. Peru's Eliseo Mina managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Lionel 柯景亦 in the 85 minute of the game. International Thunders's defense didn't have a chance, in the 85th minute, when Rafael Gallo scored to the left of an out of position Thorsten Ternes, making the score, 3-4. An unexpected shot in the 88th minute by Milagros Fraga got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rafael Gallo got free with Thorsten Ternes in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. International Thunders's Thorsten Ternes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Gallo in the 93rd minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, International Thunders's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Gallo came free, but Thorsten Ternes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. International Thunders's Thorsten Ternes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Gallo in the 95th minute of play. After having played for 96 minutes, Rafael Gallo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peru's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafael Gallo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 98th minute, Rafael Gallo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thorsten Ternes was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-5. Peru's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
