Luis Cazalla made in the 6th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Aversa's Gísli Langnickel. In the 6th minute, Gísli Langnickel fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Gísli Langnickel received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Pedro Manzanares came out and tried to block the shot, but Gísli Langnickel slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 7th minute. In the 18th minute Axel Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emory Øien saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute of the match Colombia got a corner. Aversa's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Axel Montenegro ran over to the corner to take the kick. Emory Øien showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santino Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Pedro Manzanares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gísli Langnickel in the 32nd minute. If Gísli Langnickel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gísli Langnickel's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 43rdth minute, Pedro Manzanares skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal.

61 minutes into the match, Colombia's Axel Montenegro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emory Øien narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 62nd minute of the match Colombia got a corner. Aversa's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Axel Montenegro ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a rather tough play, Colombia's Orlando Tafalla got a free kick in the 77th minute. Aversa made a substitution. Anselmo Fulgenzi replaced Gísli Langnickel. Orlando Tafalla kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Aversa's Kauã Paes got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Emory Øien took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abram Secada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emory Øien made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abram Secada in the 85th minute. In the 87th minute, Ferdinando Cesarini left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Aversa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Santino Seco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Emory Øien made a huge save. Abram Secada received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Emory Øien tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aversa's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
