Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of kaya Bal's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Zico Galinec tried to sneak it across the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when kaya Bal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Luis Andino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 50th minute.
