With an extended leg and a bit of luck Henrique Bada prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Henrique Bada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 15th minute. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Henrique Bada quite easily take care of the ball. In the 20th minute Felix Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrique Bada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Henrique Bada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 25th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Raimundo Salvadore got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With his leg Julio Vera managed to avoid a goal in the 30thth minute, when Rawmarsh's Hanni Landa fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 32nd minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrique Bada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Camilo Gisbert got a free kick in the 35th minute. 36 minutes into the match, Rawmarsh's Hanni Landa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 44th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agustín Saelices to maneuver through the defense. Raimundo Salvadore blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. Agustín Saelices's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Henrique Bada read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Cristian Sancho took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Henrique Bada to make any attempt to save it. The audience was convinced that Hanni Landa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Henrique Bada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristian Sancho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Henrique Bada having to make a save. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Henrique Bada read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcin Cebula in the 69th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hanni Landa in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 76 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Marcin Cebula came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hanni Landa in the 78th minute of play. After 80 minutes, Zuberoa Costas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rawmarsh and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Rawmarsh getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Zuberoa Costas hit a great ball. Rawmarsh's Curtis Folan was substituted for Benny Gysemans. Rawmarsh made a substitution. Mark González replaced Marcin Cebula. In the 81st minute, Zuberoa Costas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Henrique Bada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 83rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Henrique Bada in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice moves Daniel Zorita could shoot a difficult shot in the 89th minute, which Henrique Bada however easily saved by the left post. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raimundo Salvadore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Rawmarsh fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
