Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) NovaStella FK's Kristoffer Ek started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 8 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Kristoffer Ek came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alberto Tafalla blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Viktor Häll having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kristoffer Ek in the 11th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 13 played minutes NovaStella FK got a freekick which was hit by Rickard Billberg. Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Inocencio Lorien sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kristoffer Ek in the 17th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute Facundo Cadaval shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viktor Häll saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kristoffer Ek in the 30th minute of play. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kristoffer Ek in the 31st minute of the match. In the 33rd minute, Lautaro Mancebo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Viktor Häll was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Viktor Häll showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. 45 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Inocencio Lorien. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inocencio Lorien in the 46th minute of play. Mexico's Joel Gaona managed to work through NovaStella FK's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Joel Gaona dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joel Gaona stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Luca Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Inocencio Lorien, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 59th minute, Luca Zorita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Viktor Häll made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 65th minute of play. NovaStella FK's Roman Lluciano was substituted for Kristoffer Ek. After 68 played minutes NovaStella FK got a freekick which was hit by Marcu Pantelimon. Viktor Häll made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 71st minute. In the 74th minute NovaStella FK were awarded a corner. Inocencio Lorien went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Inocencio Lorien almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Mexico's Dante Lacasa did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inocencio Lorien in the 77th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roman Lluciano in the 78th minute of play. In the 79th minute, Mexico's Facundo Cadaval seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Facundo Cadaval the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Mexico protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Facundo Cadaval had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Dante Lacasa had in the 80thth minute some difficulties stopping Inocencio Lorien's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Tafalla got free with Viktor Häll in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Viktor Häll tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Viktor Häll made a fantastic save in the 99th minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Mexico had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
