Guillermo Fontirroig might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Péter Mészáros. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Guillermo Fontirroig ran back to his position shaking his head. Mariano Lacasa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Péter Mészáros having to interfere. Péter Mészáros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 22nd minute of play. Csabagyöngye's Péter Mészáros proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Csabagyöngye from getting a goal against them. In the 25th minute, Gabriel Fabelo made a precise shot to the right of Thiago Pliego. Chile's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Chile's Mariano Lacasa was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 30th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Mariano Lacasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Péter Mészáros made a huge save. Csabagyöngye's Péter Mészáros proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Csabagyöngye from getting a goal against them. Rich Durbridge charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rich Durbridge the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mariano Lacasa was the one to do the kick off. Gabriel Fabelo took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Thiago Pliego. Thiago Pliego dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Fabelo in the 55th minute of the match. Chile's Mariano Lacasa got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mariano Lacasa struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Péter Mészáros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chile. Péter Mészáros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Csabagyöngye's Gabriel Fabelo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Thiago Pliego. That made the score 2-3 after 64 minutes of play. In the 67th minute, Barnabás Takács hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Péter Mészáros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 68th minute of the match. After 72 minutes of play, Csabagyöngye's Conrado Saraiva made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thiago Pliego was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gabriel Fabelo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 77thth minute tested the skills of Thiago Pliego when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 81st minute of play forced Csabagyöngye's goalkeeper Péter Mészáros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 82 minutes into the match, Csabagyöngye's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Péter Mészáros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Fabelo in the 84th minute of play.
