Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Edmundo Espiga started the match with the kick off. Honduras's Esteban Carvallo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Natanael Paraense, made in the 3rd minute of the game. Sebastian Villa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Will Muralhas having to interfere. Natanael Paraense made in the 10th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by João Vítor de Almeida. In the 14th match minute, SE Palmeiras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roberto Andrade to maneuver through the defense. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abelardo Medeiros in the 18th minute of play. After a rather tough play, SE Palmeiras's Ian Cerezo got a free kick in the 24th minute. Honduras's Esteban Carvallo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Natanael Paraense in the 28 minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Christiano Baiano during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 29 played minutes SE Palmeiras got a freekick which was hit by Christiano Baiano. In the 33rd match minute, SE Palmeiras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Natanael Paraense to maneuver through the defense. Roberto Andrade hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Will Muralhas was out of position in the 37 minute of play, and Edmundo Espiga capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Edmundo Espiga really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Luca Espinar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Will Muralhas made a huge save. In the 42nd minute, Luca Espinar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Natanael Paraense got a throw-in 45 minutes in the game and the ball was received by João Vítor de Almeida. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abelardo Medeiros stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Oswaldo Godoi struck a weak shot in the 50th minute. Lautaro Navarro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SE Palmeiras. After 57 played minutes SE Palmeiras got a freekick which was hit by Christiano Baiano. With his leg Lautaro Navarro managed to avoid a goal in the 69thth minute, when SE Palmeiras's Oswaldo Godoi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Will Muralhas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Villa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 77 played minutes SE Palmeiras got a freekick which was hit by Christiano Baiano. The throw-in from Natanael Paraense in the 79th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Honduras's Esteban Carvallo. A sloppy throw-in by Ian Cerezo in the 92nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Honduras's Valentín Carvallo. Honduras's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
