Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Caballeros Negros™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mario Polo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kris Noander in the 5th minute of the match. In the 9th minute, Luis Andino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 10th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan-Ove Felin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jan-Ove Felin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Jan-Ove Felin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Jan-Ove Felin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 20th minute of play. After 27 minutes Caballeros Negros™'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Luis Andino made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that Caballeros Negros™'s Jan-Ove Felin managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 29th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan-Ove Felin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jan-Ove Felin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kris Noander in the 36th minute of the match. Casimiro Orain kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. In the 46th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan-Ove Felin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hector Dalmai's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hector Dalmai helped the player get up and apologised. In the 47th minute, Hector Dalmai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Caballeros Negros™'s Teo Valiente was substituted for Artemio Belarmo. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kris Noander stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jan-Ove Felin made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Caballeros Negros™'s Jan-Ove Felin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Caballeros Negros™ from getting a goal against them. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teo Valiente in the 65th minute of play. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Nesor in the 67th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Jan-Ove Felin made a huge save. 0-2 came in the 73rd minute when Daniel Zorita all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Jan-Ove Felin. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kris Noander in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Caballeros Negros™'s Tomás Jorrin got a free kick in the 80th minute. Jan-Ove Felin made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Paulo Nesor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Caballeros Negros™ getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Tomás Jorrin hit a great ball. In the 95th minute, Caballeros Negros™'s goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Jan-Ove Felin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustín Saelices, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 98th minute after Caballeros Negros™'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. The corner led to Ecuador's Luis Andino getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Caballeros Negros™.
