Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Costa Rica's Axel Tasis started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Axel Tasis in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tom Lundgren saved WRYYYY from getting behind. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Costa Rica from getting a goal against them. Lautaro Puig's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tom Lundgren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. In the 10th minute, Torbjörn Ekeroth reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Benito Sanz. The goal made the score 1-0. When Axel Tasis fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Axel Tasis a yellow card for diving instead. Axel Tasis kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. After 13 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Abel Carballo. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from George Danielsson in the 14th minute of play. Dennis Henriksson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. Dennis Henriksson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Benito Sanz made a huge save. 24 minutes into the match, WRYYYY's Dennis Henriksson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benito Sanz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 26 minutes into the match, George Danielsson dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Benito Sanz, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torbjörn Ekeroth in the 32nd minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eliseo Noboa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tom Lundgren having to make a save. 42 minutes into the game, George Danielsson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Benito Sanz. George Danielsson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. 46 minutes into the game, Abel Carballo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave WRYYYY the free kick. In the 46th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Carballo to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Torbjörn Ekeroth stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Dennis Henriksson came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. George Danielsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benito Sanz having to make a save. If Torbjörn Ekeroth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Torbjörn Ekeroth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Axel Tasis got free with Tom Lundgren in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 61 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Alan Moruga. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by WRYYYY's Torbjörn Ekeroth. But to his dismay, Torbjörn Ekeroth quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. 66 minutes into the game, Dennis Henriksson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dennis Henriksson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. Dennis Henriksson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 82 minutes into the game, George Danielsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-1. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lautaro Puig kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. In the 91st minute, Dennis Henriksson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dennis Henriksson in the 95th minute of play.
