The corner led Ribera's Angelo Cavanna to fire away a dangerous shot which Marcos Cotilla despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Alessandro Del Bello showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Miralles, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Miguel Miralles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Alessandro Del Bello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edmondo Braccia came free with the goalkeeper in the 21st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Marcos Cotilla could save by the left post. Edmondo Braccia kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Berganza in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alessandro Del Bello saved Ribera from getting behind. 33 minutes into the match, Panama's Abraham Alguacil sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alessandro Del Bello narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Ribera's Eşref Tandoğan got a free kick in the 36th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abraham Alguacil in the 38th minute of play forced Ribera's goalkeeper Alessandro Del Bello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alessandro Del Bello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 41st minute of play. In the 42nd match minute, Ribera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmondo Braccia to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Berganza in the 44th minute of play forced Ribera's goalkeeper Alessandro Del Bello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Berganza to make the kick off. In the 55th minute, Hans Wery left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ribera fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. If Dalmacio Arixo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alessandro Del Bello showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Miralles, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. 63 minutes into the match, Ribera's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Alessandro Del Bello reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67th minute, Isidoro Sarmiento reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alessandro Del Bello. The goal made the score 1-1. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hans Wery in the 75th minute of play. Hans Wery scored 2-1 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcos Cotilla, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 84 minutes into the match, Tomas Berganza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alessandro Del Bello. Ribera's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomas Berganza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Ribera's Alessandro Del Bello proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Ribera from getting a goal against them. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hans Wery, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. After 93 minutes of play, Ribera's Edmondo Braccia made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcos Cotilla was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 96th minute of the match Angelo Cavanna shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcos Cotilla showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The Ribera support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
