Venezuela's attentive Salvador Gisbert managed to snatch the ball when Villiam Stopa made a throw-in in the 21st minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Saco FC's Klas Kamming got a free kick in the 24th minute. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Siegmund Milow made a huge save. After 27 minutes, Tomas Illescas made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Saco FC's Siegmund Milow tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The throw-in from Guillermo Mariano in the 31st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Saco FC's Jan Myrsing. Siegmund Milow was out of position in the 33 minute of play, and Tomas Illescas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tomas Illescas really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. Tomas Illescass short, quick shot in the 38thth minute got Siegmund Milow to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Saco FC's Jannich Brolyng quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Jonathan Venegas, made in the 40th minute of the game. Tomas Illescas scored 5-0 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Siegmund Milow, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Saco FC's Siegmund Milow proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Saco FC from getting a goal against them. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Thorbjørn Farler stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Patricio Costa notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Saco FC's Siegmund Milow. Siegmund Milow was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Saco FC's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Siegmund Milow came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 65thth minute of the game Tomas Illescas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Saco FC's Siegmund Milow was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Saco FC's Klas Kamming quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Alex Chicote, made in the 66th minute of the game. Siegmund Milow took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Siegmund Milow having to interfere. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A sloppy throw-in by Alex Chicote in the 95th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Saco FC's Jannich Brolyng.
