Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Erik Hertzog started the match with the kick off. If Nico Gruenewald had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Heiner Studer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Guillermo Mariano hit a great ball. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Casimir Wickihalter tried to sneak it across the goal line. Owain Wollenmann scored 1-0 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erik Hertzog in the 27th minute of the match. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Patricio Costa hit a great ball. Erik Hertzog might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Erik Hertzog ran back to his position shaking his head. 35 minutes into the match, 1. FC Union Weberei's Erik Hertzog sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Owain Wollenmann sent off a good shot on target. After 39 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Illescas. Erik Hertzog recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 43rd minute Patricio Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Heiner Studer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Tomas Illescas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Heiner Studer was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. After 47 played minutes 1. FC Union Weberei got a freekick which was hit by Owain Wollenmann.

The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. Through an outstanding action, after 54 minutes, Heiner Studer successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Owain Wollenmann in the 61st minute of the match. Heiner Studer made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by 1. FC Union Weberei's Nico Gruenewald. But to his dismay, Nico Gruenewald quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 70th minute Casimir Wickihalter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Heiner Studer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Alex Chicote hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erik Hertzog, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. In the 95th minute Erik Hertzog shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nico Gruenewald fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere.
