Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodoro Duarte in the 3rd minute of play. 7 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Teodoro Duarte came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 8 minutes into the match, Sinsacote AFC's goalkeeper Primitivo Domiku had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Sinsacote AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 8th minute, when Daniel Zorita scored to the left of an out of position Primitivo Domiku, making the score, 1-0. 11 minutes into the match, Sinsacote AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Primitivo Domiku reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Sinsacote AFC's goalkeeper Primitivo Domiku, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 24th minute, Luis Andino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Primitivo Domiku was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santo Santiago in the 30th minute of play. In the 35th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Sinsacote AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 36 minutes Sinsacote AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Primitivo Domiku quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Teodoro Duarte made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Teodoro Duarte. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sinsacote AFC's Primitivo Domiku played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 86th minute of play. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Primitivo Domiku having to interfere. Agustín Saelices sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sinsacote AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
