Eulalio Bastian didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rodrigo Palacios in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dante Lacasa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dante Lacasa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 44th match minute, Deportivo Mandiyu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrián Guillermo to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rodrigo Palacios made a kick off. Leonardo Leoz kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Zhu Bin Kun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 57 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Zhu Bin Kun came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zhu Bin Kun in the 64th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zhu Bin Kun in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dante Lacasa saved Mexico from getting behind. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zhu Bin Kun in the 65th minute of play. Facundo Cadaval hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Deportivo Mandiyu made a substitution. Florian Petruzzi replaced Rodrigo Palacios. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Facundo Cadaval got a free kick in the 67th minute. Eulalio Bastian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 74th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 81st minute of play forced Deportivo Mandiyu's goalkeeper Eulalio Bastian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 87th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Gaona to maneuver through the defense. Deportivo Mandiyu's Roberto Cherro was substituted for Zhu Bin Kun. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Joel Gaona hit a great ball. In the 92nd minute Roberto Cherro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
