Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 5 minutes into the match, Köppens Kamrater's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Dan Falkrantz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dan Falkrantz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Montenegro in the 6th minute of play. Dan Falkrantz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. A hard shot 12 in the game by Jens-Ove Lindsten from a close distance when the talented Julio Vera managed to make a qualified save. Ecuador's players were relieved. Dan Falkrantz came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 20th minute of play forced Köppens Kamrater's goalkeeper Dan Falkrantz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Köppens Kamrater booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Montes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jens-Ove Lindsten, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Jens-Ove Lindsten's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Julio Vera firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 33rd minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dan Falkrantz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36thth minute of the game Jens-Ove Lindsten who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Jens-Ove Lindsten sent off a good shot on target. If Noel Simão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alessandro Melchiorre hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Jens-Ove Lindsten made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Hermínio Meireles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 55th minute Köppens Kamrater were awarded a corner. Erling Johansson went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Köppens Kamrater's corner Erling Johansson fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball. With a little luck, Köppens Kamrater's Dan Falkrantz got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jens-Ove Lindsten's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jens-Ove Lindsten in the 60th minute of play. Köppens Kamrater's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Erling Johansson in the 61st minute. After taking down the ball on Köppens Kamrater's corner Noel Simão fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Noel Simão in the 63rd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Köppens Kamrater's Dan Falkrantz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 64th minute of play. In the 66th minute Jens-Ove Lindsten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Köppens Kamrater getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Erling Johansson hit a great ball. Alessandro Melchiorre hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jens-Ove Lindsten went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jens-Ove Lindsten in the 82nd minute of the match. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Dan Falkrantz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Erling Johansson kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. In the 94th minute Köppens Kamrater were awarded a corner. Erling Johansson went to the cornerflag to take it. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Ecuador had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
