Cristian Sancho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Enzo Gonza having to make a save. 10 minutes into the match, Ç Ā M Î Ö Ń Ĕ R Ö Ş's Eugenio Argider sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Higinio Chesus hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Enzo Gonza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 14th minute of play. Enzo Gonza came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 22 minutes Ç Ā M Î Ö Ń Ĕ R Ö Ş's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Eugenio Argider could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. In the 30th match minute, Ç Ā M Î Ö Ń Ĕ R Ö Ş was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anastasio Luar to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice moves Anastasio Luar could shoot a difficult shot in the 36th minute, which Julio Vera however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 37th minute of play forced Ç Ā M Î Ö Ń Ĕ R Ö Ş's goalkeeper Enzo Gonza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador's Felix Montenegro got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 40 minutes into the match, Ç Ā M Î Ö Ń Ĕ R Ö Ş's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Enzo Gonza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enzo Gonza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. Ç Ā M Î Ö Ń Ĕ R Ö Ş's Enzo Gonza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Ç Ā M Î Ö Ń Ĕ R Ö Ş from getting a goal against them. 52 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ç Ā M Î Ö Ń Ĕ R Ö Ş's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Daniel Zorita made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that Ç Ā M Î Ö Ń Ĕ R Ö Ş's Enzo Gonza managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 57th minute, Cristian Sancho fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Enzo Gonza, passed just outside the right post. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damaso Rik in the 58th minute of the match. 60 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Hector Bernad was slow to take the kick. During this time Ç Ā M Î Ö Ń Ĕ R Ö Ş's players had a chance to rest. Anastasio Luar was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Enzo Gonza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Enzo Gonza made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. After 68 minutes Ç Ā M Î Ö Ń Ĕ R Ö Ş's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Felix Montenegro got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 0-3. 68 minutes into the match. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enzo Gonza having to interfere. After 72 played minutes Ç Ā M Î Ö Ń Ĕ R Ö Ş got a freekick which was hit by Vinicio Victoro. With a little luck, Ç Ā M Î Ö Ń Ĕ R Ö Ş's Enzo Gonza got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Daniel Zorita's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Enzo Gonza firmly grabbed it by the left post. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Enzo Gonza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agustín Saelices, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Enzo Gonza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. In the 81st minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enzo Gonza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Enzo Gonza came out and tried to block the shot, but Cristian Sancho slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 82nd minute. In the 87th minute, Higinio Chesus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 88 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ecuador played a much better game than Ç Ā M Î Ö Ń Ĕ R Ö Ş and deserved their victory. The Ç Ā M Î Ö Ń Ĕ R Ö Ş players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
