Alex Arribas kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Camilo Freixa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodosio Eli in the 7th minute of play. Madeiro's Teodosio Eli got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Camilo Freixa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teodosio Eli's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Karlos Suarez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Camilo Freixa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 23rd minute, Karlos Suarez made a precise shot to the right of Camilo Freixa. Bolivia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Camilo Freixa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Víctor Rapado in the 36th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alfredo Ferrant during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Bolivia getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Alfredo Ferrant hit a great ball. After the first half Madeiro were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mario Fernandino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes, Lucian Ortega mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Madeiro and the Bolivia players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 60 played minutes Bolivia got a freekick which was hit by Eduardo Fontirroig. Szymon Sochacki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mario Fernandino in the 63rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Bolivia's Alfonso de la Cruz got a free kick in the 65th minute. 66 minutes into the match, Bolivia's goalkeeper Camilo Freixa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by José Pedro Dantas. After a rather tough play, Madeiro's Alex Arribas got a free kick in the 66th minute. Camilo Freixa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Teodosio Eli went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Camilo Freixa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karlos Suarez in the 79th minute of play. After 79 played minutes Madeiro got a freekick which was hit by Karlos Suarez. After a rather tough play, Bolivia's Joshua Miralles got a free kick in the 84th minute. Camilo Freixa was a little too slow when Teodosio Eli got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 87th minute. The score was now 0-3. Madeiro's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
