The referee ignored Hlonda Boyz's protests and gave Bogumil Sala a yellow card for diving instead. 18 minutes into the match, Hector Covarrubias notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Hlonda Boyz's Krzysztof Pietrowiak. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Maciej Danisiewicz to strike the kick off in the second half. Krzysztof Pietrowiak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hector Covarrubias, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Krzysztof Pietrowiak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaime Pardo in the 56th minute of the match. 65 minutes into the match, Hlonda Boyz's goal looked a bit too open when Jaime Pardo came free, but Krzysztof Pietrowiak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paraguay walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
