An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Fernandino in the 6th minute of play forced Vlaamse Voetbal Verenigin's goalkeeper Taha Akyol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. David Smedts recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Alfredo Ferrant came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Bolivia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfredo Ferrant couldn't finish the play. Alfredo Ferrant received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Taha Akyol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A throw-in in the 35th minute of the game was made by Henk Van Cauwenbergh with Lucien Huijghens as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Taha Akyol made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Mario Fernandino sent off a good shot on target. In the 39th minute of the match Karel-Jan Biermans sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Camilo Freixa skillfully saved the ball. Taha Akyol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Ferrant, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Camilo Freixa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dominic Colebrants, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dominic Colebrants was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, Bolivia's Camilo Freixa got control of the ball when Natan Coekx tried to sneak it across the goal line. Camilo Freixa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dominic Colebrants's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Camilo Freixa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dominic Colebrants, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. If Eduardo Fontirroig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 95 played minutes, Bolivia's Mario Fernandino shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Taha Akyol came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bolivia reached it. When the final whistle went the supporters of Vlaamse Voetbal Verenigin were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Bolivia side.
