Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Costa Rica's Axel Tasis started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gică Boerescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 2nd minute. After 6 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Alan Moruga. Mugur Stolnicu kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Axel Tasis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Axel Tasis kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Alex Team defense, Eliseo Noboa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Iacob Nistor. The Alex Team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iacob Nistor should have stopped the shot. In the 22nd minute, Manuel Arruda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gică Boerescu in the 24th minute of play. 25 minutes into the game, Dráuzio Recife cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lautaro Puig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iacob Nistor having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Alex Team's Florin Aluchei got a free kick in the 28th minute. After 31 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Alcocer. The crowd rose to their feet as Alex Team's Gică Boerescu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Benito Sanz. That made the score 2-1 after 37 minutes of play. 김 즙's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benito Sanz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Abel Carballo kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Gică Boerescu missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 45 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Benito Sanz right hand side. In the 46th minute, Efrain Moruga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When Alex Team's Gică Boerescu in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Costa Rica's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Alex Team's Florin Aluchei got a free kick in the 54th minute. With a little luck, Alex Team's Iacob Nistor got control of the ball when Axel Tasis tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Alex Team getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Manuel Arruda hit a great ball. Manuel Arruda blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benito Sanz having to make a save. 64 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Arruda came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alex Team's 김 즙 got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eliseo Noboa struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Iacob Nistor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Costa Rica. Iacob Nistor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Tasis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cornel Bodiu took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. 김 즙's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benito Sanz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. In the 83rd minute Cornel Bodiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by 김 즙 in the 88th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st minute 김 즙 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Efrain Moruga hit a great ball. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gică Boerescu in the 96th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Alex Team fully deserved thier win.
