Antonio Alzamendi scored 0-1 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcos Cotilla, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Linus Resentvig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peter-Jan De Brouwer in the 20th minute of play. Phillip Glerum made an important save on a dangerous shot by Miguel Miralles in the 22nd minute. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonio Alzamendi in the 25th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Tomas Berganza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Panama's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Berganza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Phillip Glerum breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peter-Jan De Brouwer in the 29th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Antonio Alzamendi came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonio Alzamendi, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. After a rather tough play, Saco FC's Malam Drage got a free kick in the 32nd minute. In the 37th minute, Tomas Berganza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Phillip Glerum made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Sarmiento in the 44th minute of play. Dylan Sarmiento hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. In the 46th minute, Chris Dhaussy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

Panama's defense didn't have a chance, in the 73rd minute, when Peter-Jan De Brouwer scored to the left of an out of position Marcos Cotilla, making the score, 0-4. In the 79th minute, Xinaro Iranzo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Marcos Cotilla. The goal made the score 0-5. In the 84th minute, Peter-Jan De Brouwer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Peter-Jan De Brouwer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Marcos Cotilla made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dylan Sarmiento during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Dylan Sarmiento hit a great ball. In the 89th minute Linus Resentvig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Phillip Glerum made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Sarmiento in the 94th minute of play.
